After the Sunday-night relaxing and going to bed early, I woke up around 9. I had breakfast. Joy really put some time in it: there was cereal, toast, fruit salad, and more.
Content with the breakfast William took me to Oxford. We went by bus. In Oxford we went to be tourists for a moment. We took the sightseeing tour. It took us through Oxford, past all mayor sights. The tour gave me a good idea of how the city is built. After the tour we went to cafe Nero - the second time in under 24 hours- and had some coffee.
In the afternoon we had a light lunch. William and Joy took me through Cumnor. Cumnor is a small village, a little smaller than Someren-Heide. But it is a few hundreds of years older.
In the village, on the children's playground, there was a small event going on. There was a new bench (doesn't sound very exciting). A lady sat on a bench at the playground everyday, but after a certain moment last year she didn't sit there anymore. She had passed away. Someone for the village took it upon herself to collect money, and with the help of some local volunteers they made a bench to remember the lady.
After the event we saw the church, the local pond and took some coffee at one of the local pubs (they have two in Cumnor).
We had dinner (some leftover lamb from Sunday with vegetables) and watched some tv in the evening.
